Library Advocacy Day in Raleigh

Hi All!

LISSA is co-sponsoring the State Library Legislation Day in Raleigh on June 13. If you are around the area this summer, join us in lobbying with fellow librarians and students to help show our state leaders how important our libraries are. If you want to know more information about what has been going on you can visit the North Carolina Library Advocacy website.

RSVP here to let us know you would like to come. Carpooling will also be organized.

Click here if you’d like to buy a t-shirt to wear on June 13.

Not convinced? Watch the Strong Libraries for a Strong America video to see what people just like us have to say about our libraries.

Hope you can help join us as we Bring on a Sea of Red!

-Jewel (LISSA Vice President)
